Beaver Cleaning (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy and handles personal data in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong. This page explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
What we collect
- Your name, phone number, WhatsApp number and email address when you contact us.
- Your service address, district, flat size and details or photos of the items you want cleaned.
- Your booking history and messages with us.
- Basic technical data from your browser (such as IP address and pages visited) that our website and hosting providers record automatically.
Why we use it
- To give you a quote, book and carry out your cleaning, and contact you about your appointment.
- To handle payment, re-clean requests and complaints.
- To keep our website working and secure.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for direct marketing unless you have agreed to that. You can withdraw that agreement at any time.
Who we share it with
Only with the people and services we need to deliver your clean: our cleaning staff, and service providers such as our website host, email provider and messaging apps (for example WhatsApp). Some of these providers may store data outside Hong Kong. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data only as long as we need it for the purposes above or to meet legal and accounting requirements, then delete it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you and ask us to correct it. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may charge a reasonable fee for a data access request, as the Ordinance allows.
