How It Works: 4 Simple Steps
- Send photos on WhatsApp. A wide shot plus close-ups of any stains, your district and a preferred date. You get a written price, usually within the hour.
- We inspect and test. On arrival we check the fabric care code and test colourfastness on a hidden spot before we touch anything.
- Pre-treat and extract. Stains and high-contact areas (armrests, headrests, seat fronts) are pre-treated. Then hot water and a fabric-safe solution are rinsed through the fibres and pulled straight back out with strong suction, taking the dirt with it.
- Groom, dry and check together. We groom the fabric so it dries evenly, set up airflow and walk you through the result before we leave.

Rubbing a stain with a wet cloth pushes dirt deeper and leaves soap residue that attracts new dirt. In Hong Kong’s humidity, an over-wet cushion can turn musty within days. Professional extraction rinses and removes the water in one pass, so the sofa dries properly.

Hong Kong humidity sits above 70% for much of the year, and dust mites and mould love that. Our extraction leaves fabric only lightly damp. Most sofas are touch-dry in 3–4 hours and fully dry in 6–8 hours. Rugs and fitted carpet usually take 4–8 hours.
Drying tips
- Turn on the air-conditioning or a dehumidifier for a few hours
- Keep a fan moving air across the fabric
- Stay off the sofa until it’s touch-dry, and put down a towel if you need to sit sooner
- Keep wooden furniture legs off damp carpet (we’ll leave protective tabs)
How often? Sofas and rugs every 6–12 months; mattresses every 6 months; every 3–6 months with pets, young kids or allergies. A good habit is before and after the rainy season.

How much does sofa cleaning cost in Hong Kong?

Across Hong Kong, sofa cleaning typically runs from about HK$150–250 per seat at the budget end to HK$1,000+ per sofa for premium extraction.
How much does carpet or rug cleaning cost?
Small rugs (under 1.8 m) are HK$400 and large rugs (1.8–3 m) are HK$680. Extra-large rugs start from HK$980 and are quoted from a photo. Fitted carpet is HK$8 per sq ft with a minimum of HK$800. Silk, Persian, handmade and antique rugs are quoted individually.
What cleaning method do you use?
Hot-water extraction (often called “steam cleaning”). We pre-treat the fabric, rinse warm water and a fabric-safe solution through the fibres, and pull it straight back out with powerful suction. Dirt, oils and allergens leave with the water instead of being pushed deeper.
How long does my sofa take to dry?
Most fabric sofas are touch-dry in 3–4 hours and fully dry in 6–8 hours. Thick cushions and humid days take longer. Running the air-conditioning or a dehumidifier speeds it up a lot.
Are your products safe for children, pets and allergy sufferers?
Yes. We use water-based, biodegradable cleaning solutions. They are family- and pet-friendly once dry, and rinsed out during extraction. Deep extraction also removes dust mites, dander and allergens trapped in the fabric.
Can you remove pet urine and odours?
Usually, yes. We use an enzyme treatment that breaks down urine at the source, then extract it. Fresh accidents respond best. Old urine that has soaked deep into the foam may need a second treatment, and we’ll tell you honestly what to expect.
Will every stain come out?
Most stains lift completely or fade dramatically. Some, such as bleach, dye transfer, burns or stains that have been “set” with heat or the wrong product, can be permanent. We’ll assess from your photos and tell you before we start.
Can you clean leather, velvet or linen sofas?
Yes, with the right method. Leather is cleaned and conditioned. Velvet and delicate linens get a low-moisture clean to avoid water marks. We check the fabric care label (W, S, WS or X) and do a colour test on a hidden area first. If a fabric shouldn’t be wet-cleaned, we’ll say so.
Do I need to be home?
Someone needs to let us in and agree the result at the end. Many customers leave a helper or family member at home. Just tell us when you book.
How long does a visit take?
A single sofa usually takes 45–90 minutes. A bundle with a sofa, rug and mattress takes about 2–3 hours.
